We decided to have a day off in Lang Son in the nice hotel, and get a few things done for the day. We were supposed to meet Gary and Lynn for dinner in Lang Son in the evening of the 8th after the cycle but just couldnt face drinking again and also we sent all our clothes off to the laundry and they hadn’t come back so we had nowt to wear anyway!
The next day was just as lazy, we didn’t do much, had a mooch around and a coffee, sat at the top of the hotel and had a drink. Decided against the pool swim as it was basically an aquarium of water based bugs - but did look nice from a distance. Lang Son is quite a big town but not at all Touristy. The big thing there is to head 90km East to look at a waterfall on the China border. We didn’t fancy it.
