In reality when we arrived it was raining quite heavily and we had a drink in a bar overlooking the sea as it lashed it down and then enjoyed the expensive room before checking the pool which was full of water boatmen and was not good for swimming even if it was not raining.
We stuck to our favourite diet of Bahn-mi for a late lunch and then had a very expensive later dinner in the hotel restaurant enjoying the sounds and sights of a full blown Vietnamese party or wedding taking up most of the seats.
All in all a great day of cycling and a comfortable evening. Just how we like it.
